Recommended Reading Overview
Where to Start
These books are intended to act as guides. There are
no groups to join in order to gain full benefit. I find
spiritual books to be an excellent filter where one
can read and reread until intuitive meaning can be discerned
that resonates within one's self without having to emotionally
commit outwardly as one may in personal one-on-one encounters.
These authors listed all
seem to speak from the same page albeit they use different
spiritual vocabularies to describe what is ultimately
the indescribable - the Divine. I am hard pressed to
find conflicting efforts amongst their writings and
commend them all to you.
The authors listed are for the most part contemporary
and their works are easy to find or order locally. As
I have noted elsewhere there is a shift
in consciousness happening right now and these writers
are right on the crest of this wave. The age of the
guru with their attendant following is dead - this is
the age of the messenger with each individual assimilating
the messages internally as they resonate.
I would start with the first author and book listed
in the Recommended Reading drop down menu: Neale
Donald Walsch - Conversations with God - Book 1
If this author does not appeal try the next on the
list and progress downwards at your leisure. The farther
you drop on this list the more you will benefit from
having previous reading experience from the prior authors
listed above.
One author may resonate more for you than others. Rejoice
as that makes your experience easier to access. Have
fun!
