The Beginnings of a Healer

Choosing to be a Guru NOT

"There is nothing in your reality to hold on to.
Yet if you do choose the illusion of your life over ultimate reality,
you may simply recreate it - just as you created it to begin with.
In this way you may have in your life what you choose to have and eliminate from your life what you no longer wish to experience. "
... Neale Donald Walsch - CWG Book 1

The Email

Hi Stephen,

I found your website today, and it was very
interesting to me. I live in Canada and I
have an interest in learning how to be a healer. I
also have recovered from mental illness (bipolar
disorder) by following a spiritual path.

The Response

Hi B
Good to hear your news.

Understand the difference between a healing and a cure.
http://www.stephenvardy.ca/stephen-vardy/credentials.htm
A cure may resolve the symptoms in the body but does not address the underlying causes at the deeper levels.

You cannot make someone heal.
That is between that person and the Universe.
At best you can metaphorically feed the soil so a plant CAN grow but the plant requisites its own growth.
Healing is growth.
The difference being healing contains the judgement that you have come from suffering.
Suffering is just a perception.
Growth simply comes as a gift from the Universe.
The Universe brings you nothing but gifts allways [not a typo].
You may choose to label these gifts as suffering or you may not.

You cannot even "make" your own self grow.
You cultivate your own growth through choosing allowance, acceptance, observation and awareness.
You actually exist already as a fully realised being but do not experience this as so.
You just do not "realise" your grandest version of who you are at this time.
We are here to have the experience of becoming who we truly are.
It is a grand and elegant process.

Anybody can cure somebody but that is neither healing nor growth.
You can stop people from growing temporarily by diverting them from their immediate growth.
This diversion may become a new form of growth but it is slower and may be more difficult.
Choose those that guide you with care.
As you grow you may discover the fallacy of the Guru.
Learn to follow your own inner Guru.
A good outer Guru will fertilise your soil towards this inner goal unconditionally.

You may wish to read this book.

I recommend that you read CWG Book 1 at least twice before progressing through this author's series of books in chronological order.

Have fun
